In 2006 we were looking for a property where we could start our own naturist site. We wanted to have gîtes, chambres d'hôtes and a mini camping. We had always been attracted by Burgundy with its hills, forests and wonderful panoramas. You can feel the space around you. And of course there's the fantastic age-old culinary tradition that attracted us enormously.

Just outside the village of Champallement there was a domain for sale: Champagne Manoir. It was exactly what we were looking for: grounds (2.3 ha), an old farmhouse, a beautiful manor and various barns. But before we were able to welcome our guests, a lot of work had to be done!

In the summer of 2009 we had completed the renovation of one of our two cottages, the second one was to follow the year after and in 2011 everything was ready for take-off. From then on we could work at full strength. It's wonderful to see that our guests enjoy the place as much as we do. We usually exchange these views during our Table d'Hôte, in the mean time enjoying our meal and a good glass of wine. This is Burgundy, isn't it?
